4 Days Cultural & Heritage Tour to Kuala Lumpur & Melaka

Day 1 Kuala Lumpur City Tour

Pick up from KL International Airport and proceed to Kuala Lumpur City Tour in the capital city of Malaysia with visits to Independent Square, KL City Gallery, photo stop at Petronas Twin Tower, KL Tower Sky Deck and Chinatown.

Day 2 Batu Caves, Royal Selangor, Batik Centre

Visit Batu Caves and climb up 272 steps of stairs carved into the sides of the limestone cliffs to reach the Hindu temple at the summit. After the spiritual visit, the trip continues to Royal Selangor where everybody has a chance to experience making your own piece of pewter at the factory’s “School of Hard Knock”. The Batik Center is next and it’s where you can witness Malaysia’s traditional hand-painted art on fabric. At night, enjoy buffet dinner accompanied by a Malaysian cultural show.

Day 3 Full day tour to the Historical Malacca (L)

First stop to the oldest Christian Church built in 1710 and still in use in Malaysia. Then, a drive past the largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China located at Bukit China or in a direct translation of the name, Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to witness the Sultan’s Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement and thereafter proceed to view the gateway of Port De Santiago and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones.
The famous and eye-catching Red Square is next and this is where the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings are located at. Today, it houses the Malacca Museum, government offices and Christ Church. Built as an Anglican church, it now holds Protestant worship services. Lunch follows before proceeding to the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple or the ‘Abode Merciful Clouds’ – the only temple that embraces Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism all under one roof. Thereafter, take a stroll along Malacca’s Jonker Street for local street fares, arts and crafts. The market concludes by the banks of the Malacca River.
