Day 1 Mari Mari Cultural Village Tour

Pick up from Kota Kinabalu International Airport and proceed to Mari Mari Cultural Village. Get ready to immerse in traditional cultures and heritage at the homes of the traditional ethnic communities of Sabah namely the Bajau, Lundayeh, Murut, Rungus and Dusun. Activities here include witnessing the conventional methods of blowpipe-making, fire-starting, tattooing and served with the respective ethnic group’s delicacies while getting intertwined with the daily lives of the community living in the village’s huts.

Day 2 Full Day Mamutik Island Tour (L)

If you like water, this is the day for swimming, snorkelling and enjoy the sun and sand at the beach of Mamutik island.

Day 3 Full Day Borneo KellyBay Tour (L)

Be transported in time and space to the mystical paradise of Borneo KellyBay. Built within a mangrove forest and lined with an 8km long beach overlooking the South China Sea, it is a rare gem of Sabah and yet to be discovered by local Sabahans. Plenty of sun, sea and fun; from experiencing life in a mangrove forest to sun bathing amidst the tropical breeze, a day here will also be decorated with time for batik painting, kayaking, water padalo pedaling, banana boat riding, beach volleyball and fishing.

Day 4 Full Day Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Springs Tour (L)

First stop for the day is at Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kinabalu National Park. Touted to be home of 5,000-6,000 ‘vascular plant species and identified as a globally important Centre of Plant Endemism’, the 754km2 park is situated at 1,500m above sea level. The popular and Southeast Asia’s tallest peak of Mount Kinabalu (4,095m) is also sited in the national park. Expect to be greeted with picturesque sights, lush forests, nature trails, sightings of wildlife, fresh air and awe-inspiring ambience, sights and sounds.

Next stop is the Poring Hot Springs where the star attraction is its naturally warm and therapeutic sulphur hot springs open to the public. Another fame factor here is the 105m canopy walk suspended 30m above ground. Although not as steep as Mount Kinabalu, be ready to work out a sweat to get to the top of the canopy walk. Once up there, enjoy the panoramic view of the 100 million year-old rainforest.
